Dan Botwinik, Principal
An alumnus of The Roxbury Latin School and the University of Virginia, Mr. Botwinik began his career in strategy consulting for boutique firms in Boston, with a dual focus on profit improvement and due diligence for middle-market private equity transactions. His first multi-family purchase in 2005 awakened a passion for real estate, and he switched his full-time focus to acquisitions in 2007.
Mr. Botwinik founded Cougar Capital Management, Inc. a Property Management and Construction Management firm, to provide services to more than 300 apartments and commercial units in Massachusetts and Rhode Island that he has acquired personally and through syndications.
In Massachusetts Mr. Botwinik holds an Unrestricted Construction Supervisor License. He is a registered Home Improvement Contractor, a Moderate Risk Deleader, a licensed Real Estate Broker, and an active member of Habitat for Humanity. In his spare time, Mr. Botwinik tutors local GMAT students for Manhattan Review.
Since joining the company in 2010 as a property manager for the Salem region, Juan has contributed to the success of the organization by maximizing revenue, cutting cost, and setting up procedures and high quality standards for the personnel and tenants across the portfolio.
With a background in construction and business administration, Juan has been an integral part of organization’s activities across property management, acquisitions, land development, and remodeling of existing buildings.
Juan has developed an expertise in rentals and property management and now serves as Director of Real Estate Operations for more than 300 units across the Massachusetts area.
An alumnus of The Roxbury Latin School and The University of Wisconsin, Chris started his career with Cougar Capital Management in 2010 as a summer intern. In 2013 Chris joined the Cougar Capital Management team full time.
As a licensed Real Estate Salesperson in the state of Massachusetts, Chris assists with the overall management of the portfolio and specifically focuses in the cities of Fall River and Lawrence. Chris is also in charge of the marketing across the organization.
